 If you are already a Christian, you know all about prayer.  It is talking to a Friend who loves you very much.  And if you are not a Christian yet, consider becoming one. I can assure you, together with all the other Christians, God is really user friendly, to put it in mod lingo.

Prayer is a privilege.  in order to have spiritual life and energy, we must have actual intercourse with our heavenly Father.  We must have something to say to Him about our actual life.

Prayer is the opening of the heart to God as a Friend.  Jesus endures trials and overcame because prayers gave Him strength.  He is our example in all things. 
He tells us how to pray and how not to pray.  Because Jesus says that He would send us the Holy Spirit in answer to prayer which would lead us into all the truth, my prayer has always been, please Lord lead me into all the truth for Jesus sake.  And God delights in such a prayer.

Here is the so called Lord's prayer:  "After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in haven, Hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread.  And forgive us our debt, as we forgive our debtors.  And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever.  Amen.

Before Jesus gave us this model prayer, He told us how not to pray.  He said more or less, do not talk to God out of a prayer book.  Would you talk to a Friend from a book?  You know that the Devil is the accuser of the brethren.  He always puts your sins in the worse light before God.  I mean he really paints them black.  He has the cheek to say to God, if you let so and so into your heaven, then you must take me and all my fallen Angel's back to.  But a grown up Christian is Christ-like and learned to hate and abhor sin.  Jesus offers you and me all power.  The weakest can become the strongest through prayer.

A story is told in the Pateric, a book of Christian tradition, is about a monk who lived in a monastery.  a young man, very pious but weak in temptations.  Whenever he prayed he was like an angel.  But as soon as he finished his prayer, he fell again into sin.

He prayed again and so on all the time.  In this way his life was a constant zigzag between prayer and sin.
One day he committed a bigger sin than usual.  Horrified at his deed he went again to the church and, prostrate in front of the altar, begged forgiveness.  At that moment he saw the doors of Heaven open and Jesus Himself appeared to him.
Immediately  Satan appeared also, saying to the Savior, "You cannot possibly forgive this man now!"
"But who are you to stop Me?"  Is not all power in Heaven and on earth Mine?"

Satan insisted, "How can you possibly forgive this one who runs to sin immediately after his prayer.  He goes all the time from You to me, from You to me."
"Not at all!" replied Jesus.  "He goes from you and comes to Me.  After all, whenever he goes from prayer to sin, you receive him!  So why shouldn't I receive him whenever he comes from sin to prayer?  I'll accept him even this time.  And from now on, not only will I receive him, but I will give him also the power against sin."

Indeed, from that day on, the monk became a model of piety and holiness.  Jesus saves His people from their sins.



We are also happy to offer you an answer to prayer Ministry. We fast and pray for you and get results. We move the arm of our Almighty God of omnipotence. We are getting answers to help people with all kinds of problems ranging from jobs, marriage, financial and even cancer problems.

Feel free to use our prayer Ministry. God is so good and very companionate. But on occasions He will say no and only He can see that it is better for a person not to be helped or healed.

From our amount of Christ centered doctrines (biblical teachings), you can see that we are not the usual popular charlatan Faith Healers who also claim results through the name of Jesus but their fruits do not measure up to the good tree and rootes of the Bible, even though counterfeits are closely related to the true and the genuine.


Justification by faith and victory in prayer
The Bible says that the 'just' shall live by faith.  The righteousness of God is "revealed from faith to faith".  Rom.1:17  Nothing can better illustrate the working of faith than some of the examples that are recorded for our learning, "that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope."  Rom.15:4  We will take, first, a notable event recorded in 2.Chronicles 20.  Let the reader follow the running comment with the Bible:

"It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them others besides, came against Jehosaphat to battle.   Then there came some that told Jehosaphat, saying, there cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side of Syria; and, behold, they be in Hazazon-tamar, which is Engedi." v.1,2.

This great host caused the king and the people to fear; but they took the wise course of gathering together, "to ask help of the Lord: even out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord." v.3,4.  Then follows the prayer of Jehosaphat as leader of the congregation; and is worth special study, since it was a prayer of faith, and contained within itself the beginning of victory:-

"And Jehosaphat stood in the congregation of Judah and Jeruslem, in the house of the Lord, before the new court, and said, O Lord God of our fathers, art thou not God in heaven?  and ruleth thou not over all the kingdoms of the heathen?  and in Thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand Thee?" v.5,6.

That was an excellent beginning of a prayer.  It starts with a recognition of God in heaven.  So the model prayer begins, "Our Father who art in heaven".  What does this signify?  That God, as God in heaven, is Creator.  It carries with it the solid recognition of His power over all the kingdoms of the world and the powers of darkness.; the fact that He is in heaven, the Creator, shows that in His hands there is power and might, so that none is able to withstand it.  The person who can begin prayer in the hour of need, with such a recognition of God's power, has victory already on his/her's side.  For, notice, Jehosphat not only declared his faith in God's wondrous power, but he claimed God's strenght as his own, saying: "Art thou not our God?".  He fulfilled the Scriptures requirement, "He that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him."
Jehosaphat then proceeded to recount how the Lord had established them in the land; and how, although He had not suffered them to invade Moab and Ammon, those nations had come to cast them out of their God-given inheritance.v.7-11.  And then he concluded, "O our God, will You not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that is coming against us; neither know we what to do; but our eyes are on You." v.12.  It is nothing with the Lord to help, whether with many or with them that have no power (2.Chron.14:11); and, since the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the earth, to show Himself strong in the behalf of those whose heart is entire towards Him (2.Chron.16:9), it is well for those who are in need to trust Him alone.  This position of Jehosaphat and his people was in keeping with the apostolic injunction, "Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith." Hebr.12:2.  He is the beginning and the end, and all power in heaven and earth is in His hands.
Now, what was the result of prayer?  The prophet of the Lord came in the power of the Holy Spirit, "and he said, Hear you, all Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you king Jehosaphat, thus says the Lord to you, Be not afraid (frightened) nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's." v.15  And then came the command to go in the morning to meet the enemy, and they would see the salvation of the Lord, for He would be with them.  now comes the most important part:-

"And they rose early in the morning, and went forward into the wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went, Jehosaphat stood and said, Hear me O Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall you be established; believe His prophets, so shall you prosper.  And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for His mercy endures forever. verses 20,21.

Surely this was a strange way to go out to do battle!  Few armies have ever gone to battle with such a vanguard.  But what was the result?

"And when they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.  For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, everyone helped to destroy another.  And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked to the multitudes, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped." verse 22-24.

When the army, who had been so confident in their superior numbers, heard the Israelites coming singing and shouting, what must they have concluded?  Only that the Israelites had received reinforcements, and were so strengthened that it would be useless to try to oppose them.  So a panic seized them, and each one looked on his neighbour as an enemy.
And were they not correct in their conclusion that Israel had received great reinforcements?  Indeed they had; for the record says, "When they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments, their faith was real, they believed and they proved that:  "This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith." 1.John 5:4
Let us now apply this illustration in a case of conflict against sin.  Here comes a strong temptation to do a thing known to be wrong.  We have often proved to our sorrow the strength of the temptation, because it has defeated us, so that we have no strength against it.  But now our eyes are on the Lord, who has told us to come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.  So we begin to pray to God for help.  And we begin, not with mournful statement of our weakness, but with a joyful acknowledgment of God's mighty power.  That being settled, we can venture to state our difficulty and our weakness.  If we state our weakness first, and our discouraging situation, we are placing ourselves before God.  In that case, Satan will magnify our difficulty and throw his darkness around us so that we can see nothing else but our weakness; and so, although our cries and pleading may be fervent and agonizing, they will be in vain because they will lack the essential element of believing that God is, and that He is all that He has revealed Himself to be.  But when we start with a recognition of God's power, then we can safely state our weakness, for then we are simply placing our weakness by the side of His power, and the contrast tends to produce and generate courage.
It is also good to quote His promises, like this one: "He gave Himself for our sins, that He may deliver us from this present evil world, according to the Will (Testament) of God and our Father".---Gal.1:4   And with it carries every promise: for "He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?".---Rom.8:32.
Then we count God's promises as already fulfilled and  our deliverance from evil is according to the will of God (Gal.1:4).  we then can start thanking and praising God again.  The Lord sets ambushments against the enemy.

 "Be careful for nothing [that is, do not worry about anything]; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God Phil.4:6.


Subject: The Five Fingers of Prayer


<< This is one of the nicest pieces sent to me. I hope you don't mind my sharing it with you.....

1. Your thumb is nearest to you. So begin your prayers by praying for those closest to you. They are the easiest to remember. To pray for our loved ones is, as C. S. Lewis once said, a "sweet duty."

2. The next finger is the pointing finger. Pray for those who  teach, instruct and heal. This includes teachers, doctors, and ministers.  They need support and wisdom in pointing others in the right direction.  Keep them in your prayers.

3. The next finger is the tallest finger. It reminds us of our
leaders. Pray for the president, leaders in business and industry, and administrators. These people shape our nation and guide public opinion. They need God's guidance.

4. The fourth finger is our ring finger. Surprising to many is the
fact that this is our weakest finger; as any piano teacher will testify. It should remind us to pray for those who are weak, in trouble, or in pain. They need your prayers day and night. You cannot pray too much for them.

5. And lastly comes our little finger; the smallest finger of all,
which is where we should place ourselves in relation to God and others. As the Bible says, "The least shall be the greatest among you." Your pinkie should remind you to pray for yourself. By the time you have prayed for the other four groups, your own needs will be put into proper perspective and you will be able to pray for yourself more effectively.

Should you find it hard to get to sleep tonight, just remember the homeless family who has no bed to lie in.
